Women of the South Primary Provider Scholarship

WOS Primary Provider scholarships are available to women who are the sole or primary providers of their household. Recipients of this scholarship will receive funding from Women of the South towards obtaining an associate degree from Oklahoma City Community College. The scholarship includes tuition, fees, and books paid directly to the college.

A recipient must be a primary provider who possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, resides in the south Oklahoma City metropolitan area and falls within the financial income requirements.  Applications accepted at anytime. WOS has awarded numerous primary provider scholarships since its inception.
 
Applications are accepted March 1st through April 25th.

High School Scholarships

WOS awards scholarships to young women graduating from high schools located in south Oklahoma City and Moore.

Senior women students from the following high schools are eligible to apply for the scholarships: Capitol Hill High School, Southeast High School, U.S. Grant High School, Westmoore High School, Moore High School, South Moore High School, Western Heights High School and Santa Fe South.

The recipient must be entering an Oklahoma college or university as a first-time freshman in the fall following their senior year in high school. A grade point average of 2.5 is required to apply for the scholarship. The award is determined on the basis of financial need, school and community honors, extracurricular activities and academic achievement.
